I am a mother, athlete, acupuncturist, college teacher, and lifelong seeker of knowledge. My admiration for this Medicine runs deep, and after nearly 15 years of practice, I’ve witnessed remarkable transformations in both the physical and emotional well-being of my patients—and within myself. I earned my Master’s degree in Acupuncture from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, in 2008. My career began in community clinics, where I treated hundreds of patients in that setting, before deciding to slow down and open my private practice. Teaching at Pacific College of Health and Science has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. Sharing my passion for acupuncture with my students brings me great joy. Over the years, my focus has evolved, as I’ve explored a wide range of studies—from the deep emotional and spiritual roots of Daoist medicine to the more recent neuroscience-based applications of electrical stimulation. I love diving into the growing body of research published on PubMed, which continues to affirm acupuncture’s efficacy across a variety of conditions. Above all, I consider myself an investigator of truths, constantly learning and evolving. It’s my honor to guide you on your journey back to optimal health. I am deeply committed to bringing you a modern approach of this ancient wisdom. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, I’ve spent the past two decades in the U.S. I’m fluent in both Portuguese and English, and I have a strong understanding of Spanish as well.
