My goal is to encourage people to Health - so that they may more readily achieve their goals and thus broadly help to improve our communities and the world at large. Clinically, I work with patients to help them understand where they are on their path relative to their health, how they came to be at this point, and to then offer several routes forward to where they would like their health to be. In the manner that works best for that individual, we work together to achieve their goals. Optimizing well being and encouraging positive changes throughout. I utilize Chinese herbal medicines, Naturopathic holistic dietary and lifestyle therapeutic modifications and medicines, with Western diagnostic methods to achieve and track a patients health goals. Coordination and referrals to other specialists further this team relationship with patients and other appropriate health providers.
I earned my license in Massage Therapy in 2008 from the South Louisiana Institute of Massage, and moved to Portland, OR in 2010. Over the past 10 years, based on my experience with hundreds of clients, I have developed a style that incorporates deep tissue, myofascial release, Swedish massage, and other therapeutic techniques for long lasting results and deep relaxation. Living pain-free can be a reality, and I'm here to help you with your wellness goals!
Elisa holds a doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. She was introduced to Qigong and Daoist philosophy at a young age growing up in the Catskill Mountains of Woodstock, NY, where she was instilled with immense respect for the natural world. When she began to formally study Chinese medicine, she found that her longtime fascination with understanding patterns was given a fascinating new framework. This juxtaposed with her own intuitive nature, offered an incredible lens to view the nuances and interconnectedness of the many layers that make up our entire being. Elisa has sincere compassion for those feeling lost or alone within the difficulties of their body & seeks to bolster one’s sense of empowerment. She has a special interest in mental health, as well as conditions that are difficult to understand. In addition to her love for acupuncture and herbalism, she is also certified in craniosacral therapy. She enjoys incorporating this as well as tuning forks, cupping, gua sha & Daoist face reading into her treatments.
