The body resonates experience, and my learned sensitivity and attentiveness to this experience is the foundation of my diagnostic approach. Listening to and adapting to each patient's tissular expression, I work gently but powerfully to bring mobility and vitality back to each person by treating organs, fascia, muscles, joints, the cranial sacral system and the nervous system, as well as the subtler energies. I aim to find and resolve what is actually causing your pain, rather than just treating the symptoms. If we solve the CAUSE of any problem, the problem will disappear completely; this is my approach to treatment. I completed a rigorous five-year post-graduate training program, which consisted of 5000 hours of in-class instruction and over 1000 hours of clinical practice, as well as a research thesis, at the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques de Montréal. I received a Bachelor of Science in Osteopathy and a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice in 2014. I was awarded the Andrew Taylor Still Award for my work on improving consultations for transgender and genderqueer patients. I am not an osteopathic doctor (D.O.), as is common in the United States. I am trained as a classical osteopath; a practice common in many other countries in the world besides the USA. Before practicing osteopathy, I spent several years counselling at-risk and incarcerated youth, both in Florida and Toronto. I’m a singer, dancer and musician.
