My love for ballet and dance began at the age of 4 years old. My mother had trained with the The Royal Ballet of London, formerly The Saddlers Wells Ballet, and began teaching all the neighborhood kids dance. She then saw the"we've got something special here" and enrolled me in ballet classes at the Mary Clare School of Ballet in Studio City CA. A ballet scout came to the studio one day from the Royal Ballet of London and I was hand picked for a scholarship. So off I went on a scholarship at 9 years old to join the Royal Ballet of London where I trained for 1 year. In between my ballet training, I fell in love with jazz dance. I trained with Joe Tremaine Dance Center from the time I was 14 years old until I was 32 years old. When I was 15 years old, I went to San Diego for an audition with the San Diego Ballet Company. Excited to be chosen 2 weeks later, I moved to San Diego. I performed with the company for 2 years and attended high school there at the same time. When I returned to Los Angeles, I graduated high school and continued my ballet career with the Los Angeles Ballet Company for 5 years. In between my ballet study, I studied to be a personal trainer and loved changing peoples fitness behaviors; Getting people in shape and motivating them. In 1997, I moved to Sonoma CA and opened a ballet studio which I ran for 8 years. In 2011, I moved to Cottonwood Arizona and opened up my own personal training studio which I owned for 9 years. In 2012, I began teaching Ballet and jazz dance at the Verde Valley Ballet Studio in Cottonwood Arizona for 5 years. I took 6 of my students to Phoenix and entered them into the Phoenix Dance Convention. We won a high silver with my choreography. That made my mother happy that all the years of ballet lessons had paid off! In 2017 I moved to Camp Verde Arizona where I knew I had an opportunity to teach kids of all ages. And so it began...
