Dani discovered Pilates in her late 20s while exploring ways to manage her chronic low back pain. It didn't take long until she experienced incredible relief and many other benefits of this gentle yet challenging and invigorating exercise method. Dani has been practicing Pilates for over 20 years and teaching since 2012. She completed her training through Balanced Body and is a member of the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA-NCPT). She has worked with clients from all walks of life and she strongly believes in our bodies' intrinsic intelligence and natural ability to balance and heal itself. As the senior instructor and owner of Essence Pilates, Dani is committed to keeping up with the latest research on Pilates, Mindfulness, and their positive influence on one's physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being. Dani is originally from Brazil and has lived in the U.S. since 1995.
