A Summa Cum Laude graduate from the prestigious Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, Steve Kanovitz has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese Medicine since 2003. His undergraduate studies in Kinesiology and Holistic Health paved the way for his journey into the world of Complimentary Medicine as early as 1993. He continued his post-graduate studies focusing on Orthopedics and Pain Management at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. With 20 years of clinical experience, 10 of which were spent in a community acupuncture setting, Steve has treated thousands of patients with health conditions ranging from orthopedic and sports-related injuries to more complex cases involving immune deficiency, digestive disorders and mental-emotional conditions like anxiety, stress, and depression. Steve utilizes a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicine, qi gong, and nutrition to help his patients regain and maintain radiant health.

Taylor Gannon, owner of Eagle Rock Community Acupuncture, is a licensed acupuncturist and herbal medicine specialist in Los Angeles. She holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland, California. After graduating from acupuncture school, she trained in Japan and China, and currently teaches herbal medicine at a Korean acupuncture school here in Los Angeles, focusing on the intricate application of medicinal herbs. Her principal areas of practice include chronic pain, mental health, substance abuse, women’s health and pediatric care. Taylor sees the community acupuncture model as the most effective way to restoring health and her goal is to make quality healthcare accessible to all.
