Description: I teach private voice lessons at 30, 45, and 60 minutes apiece. I also teach group yoga classes as well as private yoga sessions. My priority is to help students achieve their own personal goals rather than setting my own agenda for them.

Additional Info: In both teaching practices, I foster a safe, judgment free zone where students feel free to experiment. For singing, I have experience in pop, rock, classical, and musical theatre. For yoga, I teach beginner & intermediate classes and private sessions.

Jenny Florinicia

Born and raised in Michigan, I began singing at the age of 8. I grew up doing school and community theatre, and was always in choir. I began taking private voice lessons with Dorothy Duensing at 14, and went on to study Musical Theatre Performance at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia (voice teacher Brian Kremer). I have performed in several professional musicals in PA, NJ, DE, and NY. I'm currently in the process of recording a full length album of all original indie pop, folk, and rock. I took my first yoga class in 2015 as an elective course at UArts with Jonathan Raiss. I continued to study yoga with him throughout that summer after graduation. I took part in the Barter Program at Wake Up Yoga in Philly for 2 years, strengthening and solidifying my practice. I graduated from the Teacher Training Program at Motherheart Yoga Sangha in Fishtown, Philadelphia in August 2019 under Dawn Smelser and Albert Fung.
