Coming from a background in Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Chinese Herbal Therapy, Jori Azinger, L.Ac. applies these disciplines and her 17 years of acupuncture experience in a competent, compassionate and painless manner. As a graduate of Midwest Center for the Study of Oriental Medicine, Jori brings the art and science of acupuncture to her clients. Gifted with soft eyes, a free spirit, a healing heart and a generous laugh, Jori sees and listens to the person rather than the symptoms, tapping into the patient’s innate healing capacity and inviting the patient to fully participate in creating wellness from the inside out. With less focus on the disturbance and more on the state of health that could be achieved, Jori deciphers the source of the psychological and physical blocks and the effects they have on the body, not only discovering what has been but also creating what can be.

A naturopath has studied all the sciences that an MD or DO does (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, immunology, and others) and then studies simple, natural means to promote healing. With an emphasis on diet, nutrition, detoxification, and supplementation, naturopathic medicine has been helpful in such diverse health issues as bowel diseases, mental health and emotional issues, frequent colds and flus, and digestive complaints. Naturopathic medicine, however, is not limited to these issues. At Integrative Health Services, we have worked extensively with children diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum as well as patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s, diabetes, ALS, MS, infertility, and cancer. Dr. Young has practiced naturopathy in the Milwaukee area since 1996. She continues to attend post-graduate seminars and pursues other health studies. As the world of health care evolves, so do her skills and dedication to traditional naturopathy.
