I come from a family of healers. I learned the highly effective art of energy healing as a teen and have been honing my skills healing others ever since. I knew I wanted a profession in alternative medicine. I felt a true passion for gaining knowledge in biology, anatomy, and physiology. I took every class I could find in these areas to expand my understanding and how to apply it to the energy work I perform. Following marriage and having children, I worked my way to Bastyr. I majored in acupuncture and massage and earned my certification, I’ve been an LMT since January 2009. As a LMT I focus on the whole body and how it functions together. The myofascial network is the binding tissue that connects everything simultaneously. It can either help muscle function and move easily or when damaged it can be the “glue” that prevents muscles from gliding over one another comfortably.
