Andrew is a PGA ‘Class A’ member and has instructed golfers of all ages since 2012, including girls’ high school teams from 2012-2015. Andrew has spent over twenty years learning, refining and improving his game, while also competing in local and national championships. Andrew competed in the 2014 National PGA Assistants Championship, whose field is limited to the top professional qualifiers in the country. His degree in psychology from CU Boulder focused on the various ways people learn. He applies this knowledge with his golf skillset to determine the best way for each student to learn and retain instruction. His teaching methods blend strong FUNdamentals, a supportive learning environment, and an understanding of what happens to the mind and body while playing golf.
Ryan is a PGA Associate and has been teaching golf since 2004. He first taught at Kierland Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona and has been at Indian Peaks since 2008. Ryan has a degree from the Golf Academy of America in Golf Complex Management with emphasis on Golf Instruction and Techniques. Ryan's teaching philosophy is all about fundamentals and individual learning styles and he teaches all ages and abilities. Ryan is a native of Colorado and enjoys playing golf, fishing, and skiing in the winter.
Rick has been a teaching professional at Indian Peaks since 2003. He also has 20 years of experience coaching the boys and girls golf teams at Boulder High School during which time they were one of the top teams in the state. Rick has competed at the highest levels of senior professional golf, including two U.S. Senior Opens and playing on the Senior European Tour. He holds the course record of 64 at Ute Creek Golf Course in Longmont, CO. Through experience and education, whether a beginner or professional, Rick has the ability to improve your game. After reviewing hundreds of amateur and professional swings using his V1 video analysis system, he is able to guide you in improving your swing and overall game.
Karen is seasonal, May-Sept Karen is a Top 50 LPGA Instructor recognized nationally. Karen has an impressive resume that includes playing on the LPGA Tour, European Tour, nine collegiate victories at the University of Florida, University of Florida Hall of Fame, along with many other awards and nominations. My mission as a golf professional and coach is to clearly assist, empower & inspire each golfer to keep being their best! By inspiring, teaching and coaching in a way that each player “gets it”! What they really need to progress and enjoy the game more over time because they know what creates and matters to play better golf. Each golfer discovers” their” solutions to making the gains in your golf shots and game. ”Golf is an art and a science. Matt is a PGA Associate that has been instructing golfers of all levels for 8 years. Matt grew up in Ocean City, MD playing golf with his Dad and Brother. He was blessed with the opportunity to caddy at Whistling Straits before he moved to Florida to compete on the Mini Tour circuit. In Florida he discovered his passion was in teaching and coaching and growing the game of golf. Matt’s teaching philosophy revolves around fundamentals, understanding how your swing works, and course management. When away from the golf course Matt enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and spending time with his girlfriend and dog.
