Mieko Henderson

Mieko Henderson is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Rolfer™. She graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2006 where she earned a degree in Sociology in 2010. She became an LMT after graduating from Hawaii Healing Arts College in 2011 where she focused her massage practice in the therapeutic fields of Swedish and Lomilomi massage through the use of deep tissue techniques including myofascial release. In 2014, Karen attended her first training phase of Rolfing® Structural Integration in Boulder, CO. In 2015, She attended her second phase of training in Munich, Germany and completed her clinical training in Boulder, where she was certified as a Rolfer™ in 2016. She has done continuing education in Thai massage, Reiki and Rolf™ movement. Mieko is a mother, an avid traveler, a surfer, an amateur photographer, a martial artist, a complete health freak and an absolute fanatic of the outdoors. She lives and works in Hilo, HI.
