Owner/ Master Stylist 21 years. Licensed in both Indiana and Colorado. T.H.I.S was established in 2007. Joy loves working with people and encouraging them to tap into what makes them unique because that’s what makes them beautiful. Her specialties are color, cut, and styling, but she places a special emphasis on healthy hair. Joy consults with her clients and teaches them to develop their own healthy hair care and beauty regiments. As a creative mind Joy has also enjoyed steping from behind the chair and working back stage during Denver Fashion week and New York Fashion week In her years as a stylist. Joy continues training and learning new techniques in the beauty industry yearly. This what keeps her love for beauty going.

Joia is a licensed esthetician in the state of Colorado, launching her career by graduating from Aveda Institute Denver, and continuing her education with certificates in both dermaplaning and microdermabrasion. Specializing in both brow, makeup, and facial technique. Before becoming an esthetician Joia's insecurities with skin concerns of her own throughout the years gave rise to her passion for makeup, skin health, and product knowledge. After struggling with mild acne she took it upon herself to learn how to achieve makeup looks and find popular skincare products that seemed to work for influencers on social media in hopes to lessen the appearance of acne and dark spots. Only coming to find out makeup was only making her skin worse and not all of the products she saw that work for others on social media will work on everyone's skin. Because Joia knows the effects that social media can have on one's confidence, she wants to release clients from the unrealistic social media norms of the need for perfect skin and help clients create a realistic skin goal, with both her services and knowledge of the products to help clients keep up with services she provides. The goal is not perfect skin, the goal is healthy skin. While Providing services Joia's number one goal is to provide clients with a safe private professional space to conduct these services in and to make sure all clients leave with a memorable relaxing experience, give guests the tips tools needed to maintain services, and the confidence to slay the day!

Tyra began her career at the Aveda Institute of Denver and is continuing her training as an apprentice studying under Joy, our very own Master Stylist and owner of the Hair And Image studio. Tyra is currently assisting Joy while completing her one on one hands on 90 day training and working her way into a Junior Stylist position at T.H.I.S. Tyra has a enthusiasm for all things Hair, beauty and fashion. Her confidence and positive attitude makes her a leader and a high value team player. Tyra strives to make people feel and look their best as she is well versed in working with all different hair types and textures. Tyra’s strengths are color, cutting, blow-out styling and natural hair styling. As a healthy hair care stylist she looks forward to helping all guests achieve the hair of their dreams.
