Kassandra Plambeck is a Neuromuscular Massage Therapist and Health Educator who graduated from the National Holistic Institute (NHI) Core and Advanced Neuromuscular Massage Therapy programs in San Jose, CA/Tamien|Muwekma Ohlone land in 2022. She is Queer and of mixed heritage (Central American, European and African ancestry) residing on Minneapolis, MN/Dakota and Anishinaabe land. The style of her work draws from a spectrum of traditional and intuitive modalities, mainly Neuromuscular Therapy, and can integrate Swedish, Energy Work, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Therapies, and Spa Therapies. Kassandra began her healing path through her own experiences of her autoimmune condition and mental health struggles. She has dedicated her life to studying and bringing healing to herself to facilitate healing for others. In addition to her work as a massage therapist, Kassandra holds a BA in Sociology from San Francisco State University. She is a lifelong student of the healing arts, energy work, herbalism rooted in her ancestry, remembrance, and reclamation of her ancestral practices and the medicine of grief. She has worked in the arts as a community program manager & expressive arts instructor, in non-profits for youth, a figure skating coach, a social media designer, assistant florist, administrative roles and has volunteered on an herbal farm. She is an intuitive artist primarily working with jewelry, collaging & creating candles. She enjoys spending time with her fiance and their pets, singing, dancing, baking/cooking, crocheting & being outside.
