Anna has been teaching Pilates since 2007 after completing a 500-hour comprehensive Pilates teacher training program at Vitality Pilates in Seattle. She was first introduced to the Pilates method as a young dancer training in ballet and modern dance. Anna has taught in various studios, gyms, community centers, and previously assisted in a teacher training program. She loves learning more about our miraculous bodies, regularly self-studying and attending continuing education classes and workshops through Pilates Method Alliance, Balanced Body, Pilates Anytime, Society of Ortho-Bionomy, Fascia Training Academy, and with Angela Carini (Pilates + Qi Gong), Liz Koch (author of "The Psoas Book"), Tom Myers (author of "Anatomy Trains"), and Eric Franklin (founder of the Franklin Method). Anna is an associate of Ortho-Bionomy® and is currently enrolled (nearly finished!) in their 500+ hours practitioner training program. She is grateful for the marvelous combination of Pilates and Ortho-Bionomy and how it has facilitated lasting healing in her own and others’ injuries and pain. Anna has also been training in Equine Ortho-Bionomy® since 2019 and enjoys working with all equines and observing the many benefits of the gentle bodywork modality in horses and people. She is certified as a basic level Fascial Fitness trainer and is currently working towards her level 2 certification. Anna has extensive experience working with pre and postnatal women, people of all ages healing from injuries and surgeries, managing, relieving, and resolving chronic pain, as well as enhancing training for athletes, dancers, martial artists, and acrobats of all ages.
