I, Christine 'SassyPants' Couch, ASNRN, also affectionately referred to as 'The Butt Kicker' by some of my clients am passionately doing what I was called to do. 'Comfort other with the comfort that I received' living out, 2 Corinthians 1:4. In 2006, I left my 20 year nursing career to pursue what turned into my passion, coaching. People who know me remark, 'of course!' when they find out I turned to coaching as a natural conclusion as I am a natural encourager (I can't not coach!). I attended my first bible study in 2006, which then turned into several years of being mentored in biblical fundamentals/studies especially relating to practical life/relationships/discipleship/conflict resolution/communication. I experienced radical transformation in how I did marriage/life and profound healing from my own childhood trauma and resultant dysfunction. I read and studied everything I could get my hands on the subject of coaching/transformation. I realized the power in how a life could radically be changed by just changing one thought-and how that could change not only the life of the person, but their marriage, generations to follow and every life that person's life touched-an exponential ripple effect-chains of dysfunction broken. I attended Martha Beck's Coaching Institute in 2014 for a year of coaching training, followed in 2015 by a year of Robbins-Madenes Training (under Tony Robbins and Chloe Madanes). Prior to and since then I have attended numerous trainings in Christian reconciliation and mediation through Peacemakers Ministries, as well as secular mediation training in Mediation Fundamentals as well as Family Mediation; EMDR as well as Psych K (in the EMDR family)-trauma healing. Yearning to bring cutting edge coaching to my clients, I am currently (2023) studying with Amen University in pursuit of being a Licensed Brain Health Trainer and Certified Brain Health Professional, as brain health has so much to do with how well we function in life/relationshi
