Our Body Ecology Massage

Bus line 50 stops right out front and it is a 5 min walk to Lake Washington. SLIDING SCALE For BIPOC, Queer/Trans, or Disabled Clients. I'll discount your session to the amount that's accessible to you at time of payment.* 60 min $100-$120 75 min $130-$150 90 min $160-$180 *Please pay the regular price if your insurance will reimburse you or you're paying with an FSA/HSA card TIPS I happily accept tips as they support me being able to offer sliding scale options. About Emily I am a life-long student of the body and have been a dancer all my life. I am continually fascinated by the interconnection of our thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, movement patterns, and soulful intelligence. I was drawn to study massage after sustaining and recovering from multiple injuries that took a long time to heal. During my recovery, I had to re-learn how to listen to my body and find balance again through tending my whole self, not just my injury. I then pursued a massage license through Discovery Point School of Massage here in Seattle and continue to take educational courses from practitioners such as Dawn Schmidt, Lauren Christman, Brian Utting, and Mike Ham. I am passionate about supporting my clients saying “yes” to regular self-care and becoming more present with their bodies. I specifically like working with those in helping professions as well as with other queer, trans, and gender non-conforming folx. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and I see my practice as a collaborative process between myself and my clients. I bring a vibrant curiosity and methodical yet intuitive structure to every session. I look forward to working with you!
