When I started my fitness journey, I carried a lot of extra body fat and really didn’t work out at all outside of martial art training. Because of this, I had poor heart health any my cholesterol and triglyceride numbers were out of control. I started working on at home fitness programs and despite my many obstacles with both nutrition and motivation, I got it under control. In this time I managed to drop weight and body fat. In time I changed my goals. I write all my own programs and started focusing on athletic training and calisthenics. Currently I’m the heaviest I have ever been but my body fat is in the low single digits. Once I got my own body under control I decided to help others by becoming a certified trainer opening my own gym Quest Fitness, and publishing my book “The Calisthenics Quest”. I managed to be the first NASM Master trainer and the first calisthenics coach in Michigan. Fun Hobbies: Movies, reading, video games, cooking, painting, crazy calisthenics, martial art training, Beer brewing and wine making. Certifications: BS Exercise Science, NASM Master Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach, Performance Enhancement Specialist, Weight Loss Specialist, MMA Conditioning Specialist, Senior Fitness specialist, Progressive Calisthenics Instructor, American Tai Chi & Qigong Instructor, Cardiorespiratory Training for Sports Performance
