Alison is a practicing Reiki Master, Licensed Massage Therapist, Esthetician, and has completed her YTT 200. Her passion is working with people who are open to bringing transformation, clarity and balance into their life. By working in the energy field, listening to intuition and spirit guidance to help facilitate healing and relaxation. She’s had additional trainings in Healing Touch, Shamanic Practices, Tuning Forks, Sound Healing and Chakra Balancing. Alison adapts to each clients needs by using multiple modalities. She hopes to help you find your inner-healer and wisdom to create the life you want. Alison has lived in Colorado for 12 years, always coming back to the mountains, and vacationing by the beach. Her love of adventure, laughter, and family leads her life.
Growing up doing gymnastics, Brittny needed something to ignite her brain/body connection. This opened a door down a path of Yoga and Ayurveda. Graduating in August 2016 with a 200 YTT from OM Yoga Journey, she discovered there were only more doors to be opened. Today, Brittny is an E-RYT 200 and a YACEP. She combines different elements of yoga, somatics, breath/fascia work and Ayurveda to bring a higher state of balance and self-awareness to ones being. Somatic Yoga description: Somatic Yoga (My teacher calls it “brain yoga”) consists of repetitive movements mostly done on the floor,to help influence the nervous system to remain in a parasympathetic state. This is because about 70% of the brains energy is used keeping the body upright. When completely relaxed on the ground, the brains energy is directed to focus on healing/making new connections in the brain/body. In this class, expect to be relaxed, doing repetitive movements with “mini savasanas” in between. The voluntary movement and mini savasanas is where neurons send messages back to your central nervous system, Thus “rewiring” your entire nervous system. (great for athletes, recovery, unhealed emotional/physical trauma)
