Jamie has been in the world of hair for years. Graduating from MJ Murphy School of Cosmetology in Midland, Michigan. She then went on to become a platform artist for multiple companies. With continued education at Rusk Academy in Hollywood, she later received a Master's in Haircuts and Color from Graham Webb Academy in Washington D.C.. where she also created an apprenticeship program. Jamie has spent the last 32 years opening multiple successful salons in Oregon and educating with many of the top stylists in our industry to training over 120 in house stylists. Teaching specific cuts and using different techniques. From dry cutting, long hair, razor cuts, sharp edges, men's fades, curly hair to fine hair. Her goal is to connect with each client according to their hair needs. To take the time to listen, work proper,and make beautiful creations. Most importantly her desire is to make people happy. Recently, Jamie moved back to Michigan and is excited to be a team member at Salon by Elle - Back to my Rootz hair artistry ~ by Jamie Sziisz Master Stylist When she's not in the salon Jamie loves spending time with her family, working on projects and currently learning to quilt.
