SCHEDULE: Monday + Tuesday 9:30am-5:30pm + Saturday 9am-12pm Owner of Flipp Salon Apothecary * Founder of Botanic Providence * Herbalist, Hair and Make-up Artist, Musician. I have studied with many Master Stylists in a wide range of methodology and technique, from Toni & Guy, Aveda, Vidal Sassoon, Trevor Sorbie and most recently in the Spring of 2022 with Jayne Matthews of Edo Salon. In 2005 I moved back to the States, and dreamed about opening a studio where I could practice all of my passions in one space, and in 2011 Flipp Salon Apothecary was born. Hair and makeup are two of my favorite expressions of art as I see it more like 3D painting and sculpture, with the added benefit of giving the person in my chair an experience of well being, community and joy. As an Herbalist, I strive to give a truly holistic experience to my clients, as I firmly believe that true 'beauty" is a feeling, a state of being. A choice of self expression not conforming to constructed ideals of beauty, rather re-defining them to one's own uniqueness. It comes from the inside and radiates outward, and it begins with balance. I have been a practicing Herbalist since 2006, have attained multiple certifications, although my plant path began much earlier.

His training has continued through extensive education with various master classes over the years. His work is rooted in classic cutting techniques, and he enjoys using retro methods in some of his work. Beyond the salon chair, Mark is a true horror aficionado, he not only masters the art of hair but also curates an extensive collection of rare paraphernalia that could send shivers down your spine. But that's not all—Mark is a self-proclaimed Sci-Fi/Cult Movie and Comic Con Nerd, bringing a touch of geek-chic to every cut and color. A proud member of the Flipp team since its opening in 2011, Mark brings his expertise and a passion for the avant-garde to every client's experience. In his chair classic meets retro, and your hair journey becomes an immersive exploration of style, creativity, and the undeniable cool factor that only Mark can deliver.

SCHEDULE: Monday 11am-5pm + Tuesday & Wednesday Noon-7pm + Friday 10am-4pm Hair Designer, Color Specialist and lover of Curls. As a stylist, Charlotte prioritizes being an expert on her clients' hair. She listens attentively to understand their goals and concerns, carefully considering their personality and lifestyle to create a hairstyle that truly reflects their individuality. Since beginning her hair career in 2015, Charlotte has consistently dedicated herself to learning new cutting and coloring techniques. Her background in chemistry enhances her ability to formulate colors and develop effective styling methods. Charlotte specializes in lived-in blondes, balayage, vivid colors, introductory curly hair journeys, razor cuts, and shears-over-comb techniques. She is passionate about working in a salon that utilizes low-toxicity, plant-based, and plastic-free products, enabling clients to achieve their hair goals while minimizing their environmental impact. When not immersed in the world of hair, Charlotte's focus often turns to food. She enjoys cooking regularly, drawing inspiration from her upbringing in a family-owned restaurant. A strong advocate for mental health, Charlotte strives to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for her clients. Her other interests include exploring nature, singing, and sketching.

SCHEDULE: Monday 2pm-6pm - Thursday Noon-8pm - Saturday 10am-4pm Embark on a journey of beauty and self-expression with Brandon, a stylist whose passion spans two decades. His career began in 2000 as an esthetician and makeup artist, unveiling a world of creativity, flair, and sensitivity. Brandon's expertise extends beyond the salon, having worked backstage at NY Fashion Week alongside global icons in the fashion and beauty realm. His talents have left an indelible mark in the wings of Broadway theater and adorned the sets of commercial and editorial photoshoots. Notably, he has been the exclusive stylist for Hunger Games Author, Suzanne Collins, accompanying her on red carpets and publicity shoots for the past decade. Brandon brings a fresh perspective to the world of haircutting, coloring, and styling. His artistry knows no bounds – from cutting and vivid colors to vintage styles, barbering, and nuanced highlighting techniques. His diverse interests include yoga, singing, dancing, and acting. His career in the beauty industry started in 2011. What he brings to his art, is the philosophy that as a hair stylist it's our responsibility to help individuals express their internal self in a physical reality through their look. “Your true expression of self is my mission.” Forrest's expertise is wide ranging. In cutting; Long/Short Hair, Clipper Cuts, Fades, Razor Cuts, Curly Hair Cuts, Wet/Dry cutting, and Styling; all hair types from straight hair to the very very very curly. His love in hair styling spans from period bouffants and beehives to modern day styles. From a simple root touch-up to creative fashion shades.

SCHEDULE: Wed-Thur-Friday 8am-6pm - Saturday 12pm-5pm Specializing in : Blonding and Color Services, Precision Cuts, Vivid and Color Transformations Ksenyia is a seasoned professional in the world of hairstyling with an impressive journey that spans nearly two decades. Graduating from hairdressing school in 2003, she has since become a prominent figure in the international hairstyling scene. Kseniya has not only showcased expertise but has also excelled in competitive environments, having secured a remarkable second place in international hairstyle competitions held in Moscow. Recognized for their exceptional skills, she has been invited as a specialist colorist at international exhibitions, her work has also featured in professional hairdressing publications. Kseniya isn't just limited to the hairstyling realm; they've graced television projects with their talent, showcasing versatility and creativity. Their passion for sharing knowledge shines through as the dedicated teacher of their own school in Kazakhstan, specializing in the art of the "careful blonde." Sarah is a seasoned hair artist with over 15 years of expertise, proudly licensed from The Gallery College of Beauty in Detroit, Michigan. Specializing in the art of blondes, Sarah is not just a stylist; she's a magician when it comes to lived-in color, color correction, vivid hair hues, foliage, and balayage. With an impressive arsenal that includes certifications in microblading and cosmetic tattooing, she transforms hair into a canvas of possibilities. Sarah's color mastery is not just innate; it's honed through extensive training with industry giants like L'Oréal, Kerastase, Redkin, and Paul Mitchell.
