Amanda played Softball at Chabot College and the University of Antelope Valley, where she was a standout, speedy outfielder. She specializes in hitting, slapping, and defense. Marisa Telesco spent the 2024 season at the University of California, Berkeley working on staff as Director of player devlopment. Telecso spent the 2023 season as assistant coach at Park University Gilbert, helping guide the Buccaneers to a 36-14 campaign and 22-6 record in California Pacific Conference play as the staff earned the ATEC/NFCA NAIA National Coaching Staff of the Year Award. The Buccaneers' 36 wins set a school record, surpassing the number of wins the program had accumulated in its first three seasons of competition and the Bucs had two first-team all-conference selections, five honorable mention all-conference honorees and two student-athletes recognized on the all-defensive team. As a team in 2023, the Buccaneers set new school records in just about every offensive category, including runs (287), hits (425), doubles (75), triples (13), home runs (22), RBI (250), walks (120), sacrifice bunts (32) and stolen bases (103). Prior to Park University Gilbert, Stankiewicz spent two seasons as the assistant coach for the softball program at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix. The Cougars set a school record for winning percentage with a 25-9 record (.735) as Stankiewicz helped lead the team to program bests in home runs, hits and runs scored. Stankiewicz played softball at Arizona State, where she started each game of her junior and senior seasons at second base. She finished fifth on the team as a senior in 2018 with a .509 slugging percentage and fourth on the squad in on-base percentage (.437). A native of Gilbert, Arizona, Stankiewicz graduated from ASU with a degree in exercise and wellness in 2017 and a master's in liberal studies and media relations in 2018.
