Owner/ Optician /Personal Eyewear Stylist With close to 30 years in the optical industry I have experience working in the fast paced high pressure chain stores as well as smaller independent Dr. offices. It was always a dream of mine to open my own optical and here we are now celebrating 23 years in business. At Trendz Optical we are not a one size fits all big box store, we have a unique collection of eyewear brands, colors, styles and designs to suite your personal style as well as a larger selection of lens types that will provide the best vision for your needs. Booking a professional eyewear styling appointment allows us to get to know you, your personal style, favorite colour's, type of work that you do, hobbies and more. From there we select a assortment of frames that compliments your unique and personal style while also focusing on your visual needs. Optometrist: Dr. Hudson Kroeker studied at MacEwan University before attending the Illinois College of Optometry, where he earned the Trustee Scholarship and was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa. Before graduating in 2019, Dr. Kroeker completed several rewarding externships. He focused on ocular disease at the William V. Chappell, Jr. VA Clinic in Daytona Beach, FL, and studied vision therapy and binocular vision at the San Diego Centre for Vision Care. He also gained experience in primary care at the Illinois Eye Institute and at a private practice in Vancouver. Dr. Kroeker became interested in optometry after both of his grandfathers lost most of their vision. He is passionate about helping others avoid the ocular diseases that affected his family and specializes in glaucoma and binocular vision. In his free time, Dr. Kroeker enjoys being active and can often be found at the gym or outside playing disc golf, rock climbing, or waterskiing. He’s also a refugee sponsor and is involved in the children’s sponsorship program Watoto, as well as his local church.

Eyewear stylist at Trendz Optical Born in the Edmonton Area she has lived and travelled across Canada. Pamela began her career in the optical industry here at Trendz Optical in 2016. Over the past 9 years she has learned a lot about eye care and eyewear. Pamela comes from an Artist background which has translated over to her optical career. Using her knowledge of portraits and colour she can help you choose a frame that suites your complexion and hair colour while accenting and highlighting your features. She will spend the time to get to know her clients lifestyle, what type of work you do and hobbies the you enjoy this will help her find the perfect pair eyeglasses that suit your lifestyle. When Pamela is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and their children. She also spends much of her time training their new puppy.
