Samantha is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Polarity Practitioner dedicated to the well being of every body she comes into contact with. After a career in the corporate world, Samantha decided to do what felt more true to herself and walk down the path of wellness and healing. Samantha’s practice was created out of a passion to educate and empower every body on its journey to well being. Through bodywork, Samantha helps clients achieve a connection between mind, body, and soul to create an overall state of balance and wellbeing. Understanding that much of our physical pain is a manifestation of emotional energy, Samantha brings an exceptional presence of touch to her very physical massage practice. She has a passion for treatment based massage therapy, addressing chronic pain points at the root. You will be sure to experience stretching and myofascial release as well as deep tissue and cupping in your sessions with Samantha. While trained in bodywork, her passion for wellness extends into fitness, nutrition and the power of a positive mind. Samantha is fascinated by the human body’s innate ability to heal itself and is passionate about continuing to learn and grow every day in order to best serve her clients.
Margaret Tansey is a Licensed Massage Therapist practicing in the state of Maine. She graduated in August 2020 from the Holistic Massage Therapy program at SpaTech Institute in Westbrook, Maine. Margaret primarily focuses on Deep Tissue massage and Polarity therapy. Additionally, she is trained in Swedish massage, Reflexology, Hot & Cold Stone massage, Neuromuscular Technique, Sports Massage, and Pregnancy Massage. Margaret was drawn to the holistic healing arts after many years of a personal journey with chronic pain, sports injuries, gastrointestinal issues and trauma. Her desire to work with people and provide a healing and healthy alternative to standard Western medicine led her to explore a career in massage therapy. Margaret is originally from Scituate, Massachusetts. She studied English and French at St. Lawrence University, where she also was an NCAA athlete on the Women’s Soccer team, and earned her Bachelor of Arts in 2008. Before her career as a massage therapist, Margaret was a sternwoman on the lobster boat F/V Audrey Marie. She earned her Yoga Teacher Certification and Level 1 Reiki Certification in 2018 through Arcana Healing Arts. Margaret additionally is trained as a Traumatic Incident Reduction and Life Stress Reduction facilitator and continues to explore the mind-body-spirit connection especially as it relates to trauma. Her intention is to hold space for each client, to hear their needs, meet them where they are at, and provide individually catered healing services to each and every one.
