E-RYT 500, Ayurveda Health Counselor (AHC), Ayurvedic Digestive Health Coach Jill fell in love with the practice of yoga in 2010 when she took her first Vinyasa class. She had practiced yoga occasionally on her own prior to this, but had never been to an instructor-led yoga class. After dealing with a high-stress job and daily headaches due to head/neck injuries for over a decade, Jill was drawn to the practice as a form of physical therapy, balance, and stress relief. Her passion for yoga has only increased since that day. She went on to get her RYT-200 from White Crow Yoga in 2014 and then continued her RYT-300 yoga training with White Crow Yoga and received her RYT-500 in 2017. During her RYT-300 training at White Crow Yoga, Jill found her second passion: Ayurveda, which has been around for over 5,000 years and considered Yoga’s Sister Science. Ayurveda focuses on health through nutrition and lifestyle and recognizes that everyone is a unique individual with different needs. To continue her training, Jill completed the Ayurveda Masters in Digestion and Nutrition program (500 hours) through Joyful Belly and attained her Ayurvedic Digestive Health Coach certification. She then went on to complete the Ayurveda Health Counselor (AHC) program (750 hours) in 2020, also through Joyful Belly. Jill has a strong desire to bring the joy and power of yoga and Ayurveda to those who want to lead a healthier and more fulfilled life. Her passion is to share the healing benefits of yoga and Ayurveda that have helped her to find peace of mind, internal cleansing, and experience transformation through the breath to as many people as she can.
