I graduated from Central City in 2016. I currently hold 3 single-season records at Central City including strikeouts, innings pitched, and batting average. I was a 5-year starting pitcher from 2017-2021 baseball seasons. Going into my freshman season, I topped out at 72 MPH. I ended my playing career topping 89 MPH and pulling down 94 MPH without injury. I resembled what it was like to be very mediocre, to Midseason All-American in 2021 while earning All-Conference selections in the Heart of America (NAIA). I was nominated for team-captain in 2020 and 2021. I developed an obsession to be better on the mound for all my years at Mount Mercy. Through my first 6 starts my last year I recorded a 1.04 ERA and was top 10 in the country. After my playing career, I took the volunteer role at Mount Mercy to become a pitching coach while finishing my master’s degree in May of 2022. In the summer of 2021 & 2022, I was the pitching coach at Independence High School where we ended up being one of the best pitching staffs in 3A. I was also nominated as 2021, 2022, and 2023 NE IA District Assistant Coach of the Year. I was very fortunate to reach our goal of making a run at the state tournament. We accomplished that goal and reached the semifinals at the state tournament in 2022. I was able to start my collegiate coaching career at Mount Mercy. I worked in the strength & conditioning field as well as being an assistant pitching coach. We grew together throughout each of the first 3 seasons here at Mount Mercy.
