As the Location Manager for Clip Clop Edmonton, Miss Melissa is a truly exceptional leader. With over 20 years of experience with horses and a decade in the helping field, she brings both depth and a heart-centered approach to her role. Her personality is wonderfully transparent, and she wears her heart on her sleeve. Her dedication to her work and her integrity are immediately apparent to everyone who meets her. Melissa’s passion for horses began in her youth, growing up in Edmonton and St. Albert, where she participated in 4-H and schooling shows. Her greatest lessons, however, came not in the ring but in learning to build trust and connection with horses through consistent, ethical care. This strong foundation has guided her life and led her to her dream of combining her love for horses with her dedication to helping others. Her experience as an Educational Assistant, and later as an EA Mentor, has given her the skills needed to lead the Clip Clop Edmonton program. Melissa brings valuable expertise in managing teams, navigating challenging dynamics, and handling essential daily operations—all with a high level of organization and discipline. Her deep integrity and commitment to the well-being of children and horses foster a safe, respectful learning environment where young riders thrive. A horseback riding lesson with Miss Melissa is an unforgettable experience. She has a natural gift for making each child feel seen, understood, and empowered. Her lessons go beyond technical skills, as she fosters confidence and a strong bond with the horse. Each session is filled with warmth, encouragement, and respect for the horse, guiding young riders to improve their abilities and deepen their connection with their equine partners. We are fortunate to have Miss Melissa lead the Clip Clop Edmonton program. Her authenticity, expertise, and heartfelt dedication make her an inspiring leader who brings out the best in every child and horse she works with.
The reason Miss Kendra has been selected to teach in Clip Clop is because she is an outstanding person and instructor, and we are thrilled to have her in the Clip Clop program. Born and raised in Edmonton and St. Albert, she brings over 10,000 hours of horse experience and deep local roots to our team. She began mentoring young riders as a member of the Youth Leadership Team in her early teens and has since contributed to building a solid foundation of horsemanship to over 500 youth riders! Miss Kendra’s love for horses is lifelong, and her passion is evident.. Her beloved horses—Jude, Varsity, Cayenne, and Diamond—have been part of her experience as a rider and competitor, fueling her commitment to help bring new youth riders into the sport. As a law major and honors student, she brings a disciplined, focused approach to her teaching while maintaining a warm, friendly personality that kids are naturally drawn to.
