I've been a student of yoga for nearly three decades and became a Registered Yoga Teacher in 2015. I am an alignment-based teacher with a foundation in Iyengar yoga. I became a Certified Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist in 2019, which means you get Ayurvedic considerations in my yoga classes and can also benefit from 1:1 Ayurvedic consultations. To me, yoga and Ayurveda are ways of living, and they involve being aware of our choices every day, more off the mat than on it! I especially like to focus on meditation and breathing exercises as the breath has such power to help balance us. I hope my students can feel my love of yoga and are inspired to integrate yoga into their lives when they step off the mat. When not teaching yoga and offering Ayurveda consultations, I like to weave scarves, walk with my dog and my man, garden, and read. I am always learning!
