Jennifer began practicing yoga in early 2010. Initially starting with vinyasa flow and power yoga, she dabbled in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga under the instruction of Jo Ichihara and fell in love with the practice over the course of a few months. Although Jennifer initially pursued yoga because she enjoyed the physical progression across so many postures, it was the meditative aspect that really fed her passion. Ashtanga’s combination of physicality, mental focus, breathwork, and discipline results in a strong, empowered, and balanced individual. She completed her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training at YogaChill in March 2012 and the depth of the course further intensified her love for yoga. She is passionate and always strives to deepen her understanding of yoga, be it through reading or through workshops and classes overseas. As she continues down the pathway of learning through her own practice and experiences, she is eager to share her discoveries with others. Through this, perhaps others will discover yoga’s immense benefits, the breath of which continues to surprise her to this day.
